Virtual Work Experience
Kuehne+Nagel is running a virtual work experience programme in August, which we thought your students might be interested in. Students will have the opportunity to spend around 10 hours over the course of a fortnight getting the lowdown about KNUK and Logistics, including live webinars with KN colleagues.
Who’s it for?
Students between the ages of 14 and 18.
When does it run?
The first programme will run from 2 August to 13 August. If it goes well, we’ll aim to run more in the future.
How to apply
Applications are open now, and will close on 28 July. To find out more and apply, click here.

Virtual Work Insight App
The General Medical Council have developed a virtual reality app which your students may like to use as a work-related learning experience: https://www.gmc-uk.org/about/what-we-do-and-why/learning-and-support/e-learning-resources/patient-journey-to-gp-practice. There are instructions on the page for how to access from a mobile or computer.
The GMC created the app initially for international medical graduates, but it does lend itself to a virtual work insight for school students who have applied, or are applying to study medicine. It can
help the user understand topics such as confidentiality, and end of life care, which they will need to be aware of in interviews and applications.
