MyChildAtSchool [MCAS] is a portal enabling parents/carers to view their child's academic performance in real-time via a web browser or mobile phone app. This facility allows exclusive access to the child's Attendance, Assessment and Behaviour information whenever the parent/carer wishes.
The MCAS App is used at St John’s for:
- Communication between school and home
- Online Payments - for further information, please contact St John's finance team
- Clubs, Trips and Residentials
- Reports
- Data Collections and Parent consents
If you have not yet downloaded the App, you can download it from your App / Play store by searching for “My Child At School” and tapping install.
Please use the account St John’s has set up for you. If you have not yet activated your account, please speak to the school office who will set this up for you. Please ensure that you allow notifications when setting up the MCAS App so that you receive the latest updates from St John’s.
How to get MCAS?
To access the web browser version please the use the following link: https://www.mychildatschool.com/MCAS/MCSParentLogin
To log in via the MCAS App, parents/carers will need to download it from the App Store (Apple) or Play Store (Android).
If you are struggling to log in or have forgotten your password, you can reset this without contacting St John’s by visiting https://mychildatschool.com/ and clicking the “reset password.” You will be sent an email with a link to reset your password. This link will only last 4 hours so please do it when you are in a position to reset. The password reset email may appear in your Junk/Spam folder so please check this if you think you have not received it.
Parents and carers are able to use Class Charts to keep track of their child’s behaviour, view attendance records, access their weekly timetable, view assigned homework tasks, track scheduled detentions, and view announcements from St John’s. If you have more than one child, you can access Class Charts information about your children from a single, centralised parent account. For more information, please click on the link below:
