OCR Computer Science
Our Computer Science is engaging and practical, encouraging creativity and problem solving. It encourages students to develop their understanding and application of the core concepts in computer science, which includes networking, components, storage, legislation and data representation. Students also analyse problems in computational terms and devise creative solutions by designing, writing, testing and evaluating programs. A large number of students who study this course go on to study either Computer Science or ICT at A Level.
Creative iMedia
Creative iMedia equips students with the wide range of knowledge and skills needed to work in the creative digital media sector. They start at pre-production and develop their skills through practical assignments as they create final multimedia products. The units that the students will study are: Interactive media products, Website design and Creating digital graphics. All of these skills allow students to study IT at A Level or give them useful transferrable skills for employment or study in other subject areas.
