What an incredible day we had at St John’s, Bishop Auckland, celebrating our whole school reward with a high‑energy, laughter‑filled silent disco! From start to finish, the atmosphere was buzzing as students across all year groups danced, sang and let loose in the most joyful way.
Dancing, Laughter and School Spirit
Every single student embraced the fun—dancing their hearts out and making memories with their friends. The sports hall was full of energy, movement and plenty of singing (some on-key… some less so!) as students switched between channels to enjoy their favourite tracks.
And the dancing wasn’t limited to students—the staff stole the show more than once, much to everyone’s amusement! The mix of dance‑offs, impressive (and questionable) moves, and a lot of laughter created an atmosphere that perfectly summed up the St John’s spirit.

A Perfect End‑of‑Term Treat
We were so impressed with how confidently and enthusiastically our students joined in. Many stepped outside their comfort zones, let go of their inhibitions and just enjoyed being part of something fun and uplifting.
The silent disco was the perfect way to finish the term—bringing the whole school together to celebrate hard work, achievement and community.
