Two students from St John’s Catholic School and Sixth Form have shown outstanding generosity and leadership by helping to raise funds for more than 200 Easter eggs, which were distributed to Year 7 students this week.

Sisters Destiny (Year 7) and Maya (Year 10) achieved this through their Royal Sapphire pageant journey, supported by Supportive Spaces, putting in significant effort to ensure every student in Year 7 received an Easter treat.

As Royal Sapphire Charity Queen, Destiny has worked alongside her sister Maya, a Royal Sapphire Finalist, to support children and young people with barriers to learning. Together, they have organised and participated in a variety of fundraising activities, including family events and bonus balls.

Their hard work and determination paid off, creating a positive and uplifting experience for the school community. Staff and students alike are extremely proud of everything the girls have achieved.
