A Fantastic Celebration of Sport and Team Spirit
St John’s Catholic School & Sixth Form College enjoyed another unforgettable Sports Day 2026, packed with fun, competition and school spirit.
From glitter, face paint and colourful banners to outstanding performances on the track and field, students embraced every moment of the day with enthusiasm and pride.
Outstanding Performances Throughout the Day
The morning's track and field events saw students competing with determination and resilience, with individual medal winners delivering fantastic performances across a range of disciplines.
The excitement continued into the afternoon with team events including the Splash Relay, Tug of War, Sprint Shot and the ever-popular Spare Kit Race, all of which showcased teamwork, encouragement and house pride.
A Team Effort
A huge thank you goes to the Year 11 and Year 12 students, along with the Sports Leaders, who helped organise and run the event throughout the day.
Special thanks must also go to St John’s dedicated PE Department for ensuring the event ran smoothly and successfully, creating an enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
