Today at St John’s, we were proud to host an incredible Trust event celebrating creativity, history and faith.
Students from our Trust secondary schools joined us for a special awards ceremony, following a unique writing competition in which they were challenged to compose a letter detailing the life and journey of a pilgrim walking the El Camino over 500 years ago. The quality of writing and imagination on display was truly outstanding.
The event itself was a wonderful occasion, and our students, alongside our MFL department, were exceptional ambassadors and hosts throughout the day. Their warmth, organisation and enthusiasm helped make the celebration such a success.
A huge congratulations to our runners-up, Emily and Emilia, and to our St John’s winner, Saule, who received a fantastic £100 Amazon voucher for her winning entry!
We would also like to extend a special thank you to our dedicated MFL staff and students, who worked so hard to welcome visitors from other schools and ensure the event ran smoothly.
It was a truly memorable and inspiring day—well done to everyone involved!
