A huge well done to Daisy and Lucy in Year 12, who have truly embodied the spirit and values of St John’s Catholic School & Sixth Form College, Bishop Auckland. This week, they not only planned a moving whole‑school reflection for Holocaust Memorial Day, but also took the initiative to raise over £100 for the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust through their sweet stall.
Their incredible effort supports vital work in Holocaust education and remembrance, helping future generations understand the importance of compassion, justice, and respect.
We are incredibly proud of Daisy and Lucy for being such positive role models within our school community. Their dedication and kindness shine through everything they do, and they demonstrate the virtues we value so deeply at St John’s.
Thank you, girls, for leading with empathy and inspiring others.
